Convert High loft open shelves to high loft with built-in desk

This modification / option is designed to be ordered with our high loft bed open shelves with optional desk (LFTWDSK) 

Please note this cannot be ordered with our high loft with front ladder and build in des as it already is made at maximum height, and has included this modification in the standard prodcut.

The purpose of the modification is to increase the hight of the bed to the maximum allowed and give a higher clear span clearance under the bed.

The changes will be:

• Increase overall height by 40mm 
• Upper surface of the mattress base height will now be 1440 from the floor and clearance hight will be approx. 1424mm Note clearance measurement is only under the bed. At front and back edges is approx. 40mm less.
• The modification removes under vertical support parts and changes number of slats to four wider slats instead of five narrower ones to give increased support without the vertical parts.
